Nissan organizes a separate network of dealers in Europe to provide a high quality services for supercar GT-R. High Performance Network will include 58 dealers who will be forced to invest a minimum 100,000 Euros in services and own showrooms to be accepted in the new network. Nissan GT-R is introduced in Europe which is expected to attract customers from existing premium sports cars such as Porsche and Audi.
“If customers come to November from other prestigious brands, dealers must understand this market and be able to fulfill customers’ requirements. Because it is truly a case, the network of dealers should be able to provide specialized services they require this type of car, “said Guillaume Cartier, head of European marketing division of Nissan sports cars. Cartier described GT-R as an iconic model which demonstrates knowledge of the Nissan about design and technology.
Applications for Nissan GT-R in Europe have exceeded 1,500 units. The supercar delivery will start in March 2009, but Nissan dealers do not expect to sell more than 20 GT-R copies annually. Members of High-Performance Network will keep special events in order to keep abreast of potential customers about the project GT-R.
“We have refused more dealers than we accepted. The sale of GT-R will become evident a good business“, added Cartier.
