One of the most important designs for the luxury brand was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show and is the Infiniti Essence Concept. The car was described by the vehicle’s chief stylist Mamoru Aoki as an “exploration into the brand’s future”.Luxury Brand Louis Vuitton was also called upon to contribute to the design that centres around a sleek minimalist look.

One year ago, in 2010, Ola Kaellenius announced at the Los Angeles Motor Show that the Mercedes tuning division would release two very special Black Series cars in the near future.The C63 AMG Coupe Black Series has already been seen and now the second that is Mercedes SLS AMG and which has been spied being tested on the Nurburgring in Germany.The SLS AMG is the most extreme of the Black Series to date and is apparently lighter in weight. This, combined with its extra power with an expected naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8, should get the car to 60 miles per/hour in about 3 seconds.

It seems that Mercedes has a new model on its way, a convertible version. According to different sources, this car has been designed to compete with the Audi A3 Cabriolet, BMW 1 Series Convertible and VW Golf Cabriolet. While the B-Class, Mercedes CEO was presented,Dr Dieter Zetsche, announced that five new compact cars are in the works over the next few year. A 1.6-litre petrol turbo and a 1.8 diesel, the A-Class range will get a sporty turbocharged 200bhp 2.0-litre petrol motor seem to be the surprises under the hood.

With 360 horsepower squeezed from an award winning turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine at just 3,300 pounds, the coupe is probably the best TT ever made. Being able to reach a top speed of 174 mph and get to 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds, this model is absolutely amazing. Audi magnetic ride on the TT RS allows the suspension characteristic to be actively altered benefiting the driver as the system constantly adapts to the driving situation at the time.

It is known that the unveiling of the new Toyota Prius C took place in July at the Australian Motor Show. A few days ago, images of the vehicle in production were spotted in a Japanese magazine. The new compact MPV style Prius, rumoured to be called Aqua seems to be both the smallest and the cheaper member of the Priius family, model that is due to be officially launched next year, in 2012. There are obviously some characteristics that are going to make this model special. For instance, a more rounded front end with a curvy front bumper, vertical corner spotlight clusters and an all-new headlight design. The production model also loses a lot of the angular, sporty and futuristic style of the concept and also appears skinnier than the original concept version revealed. But if we want certainty, we will have to be patient and wait for the official launch.

The brand new 3 Series sedan from BMW has just been launched and is expected to be on the international market in February 2012. Although the sixth generation 3 series F30 has grown in size offering a slightly longer wheelbase, a wider track and some extra rear legroom, BMW are adamant that the new model is up to 45kg lighter than its predecessor, depending on the engine of course.
