The future Opel Astra will come in 2010


Carl-Peter Forster, head of GM Europe, confirmed that production start to the new model Opel Astra in the factory in Bochum, Germany, was delayed until 2010.
The new generation of the Opel Astra model will be released on Mainland at the beginning of 2010 and available in several versions: hatchback with 3 and 5 doors, wagon and sedan. The future Astra will be assembled first in Ellesmere Port factory in the UK.
The new model will be based Delta platform (GM), which platform is based on the new Chevrolet Cruze.
Astra model is the best model under different brands from one geographical region to another: in Europe Opel, Vauxhall in Britain, Saturn in the U.S., Holden in Australia and Chevrolet in South America.

Renault presents new generation Symbol

The French manufacturer presented first photos of Clio sedan version. There were too many information, but those photos and we realize that many things have changed in approach, without (yet) the current generation Clio Symbol.
First, French have individualized the car. I mean the model is called Symbol (Thalia in some markets), not Clio Symbol. Secondly, the front of the car no longer similar to that of Clio – scale, optical blocks is others.
Renault Symbol will be presented at the first Auto Fair from Moscow, which opens its gates on 26 august. In this fall at the beginning of October begins Auto Salon in Paris, the French but have not chosen to present the world premiere car home and is understood. Clio Symbol is intended mainly to countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
The French not give exact details about engines. I say only that it will be more propellers, gas and diesel. The platform used the technique from the Symbol’s Clio II, not the current Clio.
Renault has not submitted any picture inside the whole (only watches with a book), so do not know yet how the new look of Symbol.

Predator Xtreme or What?

That closes look at this car will, because you’ll probably not see something very soon! Named Predator Xtreme, it divides amazing creative design elements from several cars: Enzo front type, and seats in the headlights like Lamborghini, the arrangement of seats as McLaren F1 and even stop lights from the Infiniti G35. Besides the final result is horrible, quality of construction is not as good as you can see in the pictures below.

Rolls-Royce Hyperion

The drawings that you see are for the official new concept created by Pininfarina based on super-luxury model Rolls-Royce Coupe. Even if the car has not been seen since in reality, it exists and it seems that will be exposed to competition from the elegant Pebble Beach, California.

Volkswagen could produce diesel and hybrid engines in the U.S.

The German manufacturer Volkswagen holds a very wide range of engines produced worldwide, starting with a capacity of less than 1l and three cylinders, until V10, V12; compared with the U.S., where only produces engines of 4, 5 or 6 cylinders.
This could cause the company to start production of engines, especially diesel and hybrid at the factory in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Although the United States will not be the most exotic engine products the group’s VW, the entire range will be available from import.
Decision-building diesel engines and hybrid in this location will certainly be determined by the need to reduce fuel consumption while maintaining performance machines, according to Automotive News.
The second reason for the production of engines at the factory in Tennessee is that in this way, in the long term, not a Volkswagen in May to confront the difference between current U.S. dollars and euros.

871,000 U.S. dollars to show “F1″

Kahn Design will use the most expensive of world number one model on the Mercedes SLR McLaren.
The highest amount paid for a plate of registration amounted to 871,000 dollars. It is the license for a car with the number “F1“.
The buyer of this number put on sale at a price record company is known for tuning Kahn Design.
