Hummer HX concept


Hummer is proudly boasting that that HX concept is smaller than the new to our shores H3 model but at 81 inches wide, the go-anywhere HX would still find itself stymied by urban width-restrictors.
The HX features a number of removable or changeable body panels to increase both its off-road ability and practicality.
Motive power is provided by an upturned steam iron by the looks of the underbonnet photo but apparently that’s actually a 3.6-litre V6 engine designed to run on E85 bioethanol and driving all four wheels.
The interior is aircraft inspired, featuring exposed aluminium spars, drilled for lightness, supporting the seats and a hefty crossbeam supporting the instrument cluster.

GM invests $73 million in Hummer H3T

General Motors announced that will invest $73 million for developing the new model from Hummer family, called H3T.
H3T it’s a light lorry, with generous charging space, not just a SUV with a bigger boot. Production will start until the end of the year, and the selling will be, earlier in SUA in 2008 autumn.
H3T will be longer than H3 SUV, and the cabin will have 4 doors, instead of 2, as it was presented, as a concept in 2004.
Hummer will launch in the next future an off-road compact model, which will compete against Jeep Wrangler.

The Sweetest HUMMER

This is about one big, sweet Hummer H1.The project has been made by the artist Heidi Heiss who managed to cover an entire Humvee with gumballs.The car is on display at the Tucson’s Museum of Contemporary Art.The gumballs are connected by stainless steel wires and a lot of glue and the result was not a big gumball but a big Hummer Gumball.

The german tuner, Geigercar managed to tune a Hummer H2 and they’ve called it the Hummer GT.Its big because its a Hummer, its powerful because its a Geigercar and most of all its mighty because its a tuned Hummer.The wheels used by the tuner are 30 inches alloy Leviathan’s.The big 6.0 liter engine has now recieved a supercharger and it developes 556 BHP.The exhaust system is all made from stainless steel and its very loud making the car impossible to miss.Another tuning element are the butterfly doors but the doors can alos be opened conventionnaly.

The colour scheme used is orange/lightblue.The Hummer GT can now reach 60 MPH in just 7.9 seconds, with a whooping top speed of 225 KMH.The price matches the looks: 168.000$.
